Here’s a quick update on anti-social behaviour locally. We know it can be distressing, but we’re working closely with partners to make the area safer and support residents.
During the past few months, Aldborough Safer Neighbourhoods' Team have been working to tackle Anti-Social Behaviour in Tring Close, Court Way Car Park, Barkingside and in Donington Avenue.
Tring Close
------------
We have been working with residents of Tring Close and Buntingbridge Road to address their concerns regarding Anti-Social Behaviour in the connecting alleyway.
We have requested that The London Borough of Redbridge Council remove the litter and fly-tipping and to lop any overgrown shrubs or branches.
A temporary CCTV camera has also been installed at the location and residents in the area have received leaflets with our contact details and further information.
Court Way Car Park

Local residents reported that groups were attending Court Way car park outside of operating hours and were causing noise nuisance and littering issues. There were also reports of ASB using their vehicles.
We have spoken with local residents, who have reported a vast improvement in the issues and we will continue to patrol the area and speak with those using the car park (once operating hours have concluded).
We have worked with our partners at The London Borough of Redbridge Council and the area has been cleared of litter and fly-tipping. A temporary CCTV camera has also been deployed to assist us in identifying any persons or vehicles used in this behaviour.
Donington Avenue

We have also been working with residents in the Donington Avenue area - as they have reported groups present in vehicles causing ASB and nuisance with loud music until the early hours of the morning. Similarly, a temporary CCTV camera has been installed.
In both cases, we will conduct enquiries regarding any vehicles or person(s) causing Anti-Social Behaviour and will work to identify the most appropriate processes in order to prevent the behaviour from escalating.

Please report Anti-Social Behaviour to us - as this provides us with opportunities to engage in collaborative efforts with our partners and prevent further issues.
You can report ASB to the police via 101 - or via www.met.police.uk (and click the 'report' button).
If possible, please aim to provide the following*;
1) Dates and times when the problem is taking place
2) An exact location (i.e. between the junctions of two roads)
3) A description of any persons or vehicles involved (and if possible, any number plates)
4) A description of the behaviour
5) If there is any CCTV near to where the behaviour is taking place.
*Please do not endanger yourself in order to obtain any information - your safety is paramount and we can work to establish any missing information (where possible).
